Portsmouth River Days is held each year beginning the Friday before Labor Day.  River Days is held on the riverfront and in the adjacent historic Boneyfiddle district of Portsmouth, Ohio. There is free nightly entertainment on the festival sound stage including a national act on Saturday, arts and crafts, mid-way rides and more. The Little Miss River Days Pageant is held on the Tuesday before Labor Day at Shawnee State University at 6pm. Late model racing Friday and Saturday nights at Portsmouth Raceway Park. The Grand Parade is Ohio's largest daytime parade and begins at 11:00am on Saturday morning with the Queens' Pageant following at 6:30pm on Saturday night at Shawnee State University's Gymnasium.  The festival ends on Sunday night with our Fireworks Extravaganza at 10:00pm.
