Brylen Scarfpin, Miss River Days 2025

My name is Brylen Scarfpin, and I had the honor of representing Minford High School. I am the daughter of Ryan and Andrea Scarfpin, and my platform is “Fresh Start.” I am actively involved in cheerleading, and after graduation I plan to attend Ohio University to pursue a degree in Speech Pathology.

River Days has changed my life in ways I never could have imagined. I gained confidence in public speaking, learned the ins and outs of interviewing, and most importantly, I gained 13 girls who now feel like family. The memories we’ve created are ones I will cherish forever. Without River Days, I might never have had the opportunity to share my story or spark a cultural shift within my school. I truly don’t know who I would be without this experience.

I am forever grateful to have held the title of Miss Minford and even more honored to continue my journey as your Miss River Days 2025.

Makenna Butler, 1st Runner-Up

My name is Makenna Butler, and I represented Northwest High School. I am the daughter of Brett and Amber Butler. “Eye See You,” is my platform dedicated to providing people with visual impairments the tools they need to chase their dreams. I collected over 1,000 pairs of corrective eyewear to donate to those in need, but without our entire community, this would not have been possible. Upon graduation I plan to attend The Ohio State University, where I will major in political science and minor in law and public affairs.

Chloee Morris, 2nd Runner-Up

My name is Chloee Morris, and I am honored to serve as Miss River Days Second Runner-Up. I am the proud daughter of Josh and Cassie Morris and had the privilege of representing Portsmouth High School. Throughout high school, I stayed involved in cheerleading, volleyball, and show choir.

This fall, I plan to attend Shawnee State University, where I will major in nursing with the goal of serving and caring for others in my community. My platform, The White Feather Project, is dedicated to supporting children affected by substance abuse by providing safe spaces, emotional support, and resources to help them feel seen, heard, and valued.

I am incredibly grateful to River Days for giving me a voice, an opportunity to share a cause close to my heart, and an unforgettable experience I will carry with me into the future.
