Miss Notre Dame - Kennedy Foley

**Hello Everyone!**

My name is Kennedy Foley, and I am incredibly honored to serve as Miss Notre Dame for the 62nd River Days Festival. I am proud to be the daughter of Daria Cummings and Jim Foley, and I currently attend Notre Dame High School as a junior. During my time here, I have actively participated in several organizations, including Key Club and Pep Club, and I’ve been a  varsity cheerleader for three years.

Beyond school and athletics, I have a deep passion for dance and have been dancing with RCPA since I was three years old. Dance has always been my creative outlet and a means of self-expression, shaping who I am today.

My platform is called “Staying en Pointe,” and it stems from my personal experience with ADD. Throughout my life, I have struggled  with the stigma associated with this diagnosis. I believe it’s important  to address these challenges and share my journey, showing others that a disability does not define us. We all learn and thrive in different ways, and who wants to fit into a single mold anyway? My goal is to educate others, as well as myself, about ADD and ADHD while encouraging everyone to discover their unique outlets—just as I found mine in dance.

Becoming Miss Notre Dame is not just a title for me; it’s a long-held dream that began when I won my first pageant, Young Miss River Days, in 2019. I am truly honored to represent both my community and school during this exciting time. I promise to carry the traditions of Notre Dame with me throughout my reign.

Thank you to my community, school, and classmates for supporting me in this endeavor. Together, let’s focus on embracing our individuality and celebrating our strengths by

“Staying En Pointe”.

Onward to Victory 💙💛
