Miss STEM Academy- Faith Claypool

I am Faith Claypool and I am your very first Miss Stem Academy in the River Days Pageant this year! I am thrilled to be able to take part in such an amazing opportunity in this community. The moment I stepped into Stem I knew I wanted to represent them in the pageant someday. It is such an honor to be your Miss Stem Academy!

So let’s talk about me!

In Stem Academy I participate in, choir, yearbook, and prom committee. I also do a lot of student-led things such as teaching dance, helping with freshman health, costume designing for the school play, my own dance group for middle and high school, and creating every aspect of our annual haunted house.

Stem Academy has had such a positive effect on my life. Stem Academy has helped me create a safe space to learn and express my creativity, without this school I do not know where I would be.

My Family,

I am the daughter of Danny and June Claypool and the oldest of five children! In River Days I will be shedding light on the fostering and adopting community. My family became one of many families in our community that foster children through an organization called Oasis. Oasis specializes in therapeutic homes for foster children who have experienced trauma.

In 2020, my parents adopted my two younger sisters who are a major part of my life. My Platform in River Days will be “Be The Change” in the fostering and adopting community, focusing on the need for loving and caring homes in our community. So, are you ready to be the change?

The People's Choice Award will be awarded to the contestant who raises the most money for the River Days Festival and will be guaranteed in the Top 5 or 6.

The People's Choice Award will be announced during crowning.

Portsmouth River Days is operated by Friends of Portsmouth, a registered 501c3.
